Manuel age 11 Wished to meet Allan Iverson-sibling 14

Manuel says that he is the all time greatest fan of Philadelphia 76er Allan Iverson. It stands to reason that Manuel’s wish was to meet Mr. Iverson. After watching and waiting for months for the Philadelphia 76ers to come to Los Angeles to play the Clippers, Manuel was excited to go to the game rain or shine.

Although it rained hard on Los Angeles that day, nothing could rain on Manuel’s parade. Manuel wanted to make sure that his sister, who is in a wheelchair, could come along with him. As his mother maneuvered his sister in her chair, Manuel carefully held the umbrella so that not a drop of rain fell on her. Once inside the Staple Center , Manuel was mesmerized, but rarely left his sister’s side. Even though he had the choice to have tickets on the floor behind the Philadelphia 76ers bench…and maybe get to meet his idol… Manuel choose to stay in the wheelchair section with his handicapped sister. What a kid!
