The foundation's mission is to grant wishes that enrich the lives of siblings of children with severe multiple disabilites.

The Aliah Sweet Fragile Hearts Foundation is dedicated to making siblings feel important by exclusively addressing their specific needs. The goal is to elevate the status of siblings and acknowledge their exceptional bond while engendering sensitivity to the complexity of sibling issues.

According to the US Census Bureau, of the more than 8 million children living in California between the ages of 5 and 20 years old, nearly 500,000 of those children have disabilities. A vast majority of these children have severe multiple life long disabilities. Because of this, an alarming number of siblings in California are also facing challenges attendant to their brother or sister's disability. The sad reality is that the more challenges the disabled child faces, the more difficult life is for the sibling(s).

The Aliah Sweet Fragile Hearts Foundation is committed to providing respites for these children by granting their wishes. In many cases, it is the only opportunity for these children to have the focus solely on them.
